As a schoolgirl growing up in Saudi Arabia, Ustadha Yasmine regularly spent her afternoons and summers attending Quran school classes, and she completed her formal Tajweed instruction there. She received her Bachelor's in Elementary Education from La Salle University, having always had a passion for teaching. She continued her Islamic education in Saudi Arabia until she permanently moved to the United States, where she has attended over 30 AlMaghrib classes. Ustadha Yasmine has received Ijazahs in Quranic Recitation per the recitation of Hafs-an-Asim and in Al-Imam Al-Jazri's poetic treatise on Tajweed. For over 20 years, she has been teaching students from Pre-K-12th grade in subjects ranging from English Language Arts to Quran. She is never more in her element than when she explores the wonders of Allah's Book surrounded by her beloved students.
Ustadh Adeeb was born in Guyana and raised in New York City. He has memorized the Quran and has obtained 3 Ijazahs in the Riwayah of Hafs-an-Asim as well as an Ijazah in the variant Qiraat. He is a student of the Islamic Sciences and is currently pursuing a degree in Islamic Studies and Arabic with Al-Azhar University. He graduated from the Shaykh Emad Effat seminary in Cairo, Egypt, completing a four-year program studying the traditional Islamic Sciences. He also has obtained a Bachelor’s degree from the CUNY-Hunter College with a focus on earth and environmental sciences.
Ustadh Zawar has studied and obtained an Ijazah in Hafs-an-Asim as well as Ijazahs in al-Ashr al-Sughra and al-Ashr al-Kubra. He graduated from Purdue University with a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering. After living and working in the United States for many years, he moved to Canada. He has previously taught al-Ashr al-Sughra and al-Ashr al-Kubra Ijazah reading and currently teaches Tajweed as well as Qiraat.
Brother Adam was born and raised in the United States. He has always had a love of learning and memorizing the Quran. He has studied Arabic language and Tajweed in Egypt. Brother Adam is currently a student at the Islamic University of Madinah. He resides in Texas.
Sister Ansah was born in Pakistan and raised in Canada. Since she was very young, her mother instilled in her the love of Quran and the habit of reciting it daily. That habit and passion was deepened when she completed her Hifdh at the age of 15 and continued on to learn Tafseer and Arabic Grammar while completing high school. Afterwards, she began teaching recitation to others at her local Masjid and immediately knew she wanted to become a part of the Quran Revolution team when she heard about it. She is incredibly grateful to be in a position to help other Muslims around the world gain more confidence in doing what she also loves.
Sister Fathima started her Quran studies at the age of 3, with the shaykh writing out the lesson for her on a traditional Lawha. She has continued to learn Quran into adulthood under various teachers from around the world. She has obtained Ijazat in Hafs-an-Asim and Ashara Sughra and hopes to continue learning and teaching the Quran as long as she lives. She also holds a degree and work experience in Computing and is interested in exploring the crossroad between technology and spirituality.
Having been born and brought up in Saudi Arabia, Brother Hammad was exposed to beautiful recitations from a young age. His father taught him Qaidah Nooraniya and first completed the Quran with him. Brother Hammad was among the first QR students in 2016. He has since completed the entire Khatam of the Quran with an Ijazah-certified teacher from Al Azhar University. Brother Hammad also holds multiple Ijazahs in: Al-Muqaddimah Al-Jazarriyah (Tajweed treatise), Tuhfatul Atfal (Tajweed primer), Al-Sakhawiyyah, and Qiraat 101 text. He has studied Al-Khaqaniyyah, one of the earliest texts of Tajweed written, as well as, Ashara Sughra rules. Currently he is completing multiple Ijazah readings in Hafs-an-Asim with teachers from Egypt and the US, including under Imam Wisam Sharieff, as well as, studying Ashara Kubra with Qari Armaan.
Born and raised in Saudi Arabia, Sister Mona received her first degree in Tajweed at a local Quran center. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from LaSalle University. She also has received two accredited certification diplomas in TEFL (teaching English as a foreign language) and TESOL (teaching English to speakers of other languages). Her love for educating others extended to becoming a certified Pilates instructor. She currently focuses on her new start-up business (@iwani.edu). Since moving to Egypt in 2000, Sister Mona has completed the memorization of over half the Quran and is striving to complete it fully. She continues to enter Quran competitions twice a year to push herself in this cause.
Sister Najat was born and raised in Texas and currently resides there. She is a homeschooling mother of four younglings and is in her last semester of school for Early Childhood Education. Her love for teaching Quran and Tajweed began in Sunday School, when her teacher asked her to help others. Sister Najat has been teaching Quran for several years and currently teaches Muslim reverts at Islam in Spanish. She has studied under multiple teachers with Ijaza and is now memorizing the Quran with the Memorise Mentor program under Imam Wisam.
Sister Radwa was encouraged by her parents to memorize the Quran from a young age, and since she was a teenager she has been helping young children study Quran and Islamic Studies in her local Masjid. She graduated from the faculty of Arts Ain Shams University in Cairo, Egypt, where she has lived most of her life and where she now continues to reside. Sister Radwa completed her Hifdh with the Khayrekum Organisation in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. She obtained her first Ijazah and is now in pursuit of another one. She was introduced to Quran Revolution by her dear friend Sister Mona and is blessed to have both her sisters join the team. To Radwa, it truly feels like a big happy family.
Sister Rania was born in Egypt but spent four of her childhood years in the United States, where she first attended Quran circles at her local masjid. In Egypt, she continued learning and teaching in Quran circles during every summer vacation. She has a Bachelor’s in English education from Ain Shams University in Cairo. After marriage, Sister Rania moved with her family to Saudi Arabia and completed memorization of the Quran in 7 years. Now living in Turkey, Sister Rania holds Quran circles online and is also studying the ten recitations and Shatibia at an online academy. Rania feels that being a part of a program like Quran Revolution is a dream come true!
Born and raised in Sri Lanka, Sister Reema was inspired by the Quran from a very young age. Her journey of studying Tajweed began at the International Open University. Since then she has studied under several certified teachers and is currently pursuing her Ijazah in Al-Muqaddimmah Al-Jazariyyah. Sister Reema is a Biomedical Science Graduate and holds a Master’s degree in Molecular pathology. Her greatest passion is to inspire others to engage and build a lifelong connection with the Quran. She is grateful for this wonderful opportunity at Quran Revolution, enabling her to pursue her love for teaching the Quran. Apart from teaching, Sister Reema loves to learn, travel, read, and spend time with family and friends.

When does the program start?
The Quran Revolution 2023 May Semester begins on May 29, 2023. Registration is open now.
How long will it take to complete this course?
Each course/level of the program runs approximately 16 weeks. Once you have successfully completed your level, you are able to move to the next course/level in the next semester. Most students will be able to complete one level in one semester, or about 16 weeks. It can take from 4-16 months to complete the full QR Year One curriculum, depending on where you begin, and students will see the greatest benefit by completing the entire program, which includes Year One and Year Two.
Are there any prerequisites for taking this program?
There are no prerequisites for joining this program. Each student begins at the level appropriate for them.
What if I cannot make the live sessions? Will there be recordings available?
If you are unable to attend the live class sessions, then you can view recordings of live classes via the QR App. While the live class sessions are very beneficial and motivational, they are not necessary to learn and progress through the program. (Please note that in some locations our live class meeting platform is blocked. In these situations, you will still have access to the live class recording which is always available the next day on the QR App.)
Once I register and have access to the program, will it always be available to me?
Your subscription is for the semester only. The month-to-month plan will give you access for the month you are in and have paid for.
If I find the program is not for me, is there a refund policy?
We offer a 30-day refund policy from your initial Sign up,

Will we receive an Ijaazah?
Upon completion of the program, there is no Ijaazah certificate, however, we will provide a certification of completion of the Quran Revolution program.
How is this program different than just getting a teacher?
Quran Revolution is a one-of-a kind program with a unique learning system specifically created by Imam Wisam to meet the needs of every kind of learner. With a subscription to Quran Revolution, you will have access to:

How much time is needed to master the program?
Every student progresses at their own pace, however most students will be able to complete all of the levels within one year or less.
What if someone has zero arabic?
Quran Revolution is made for the student with “zero arabic” experience. Our level one course is designed to help you recognize, assemble, and construct the Arabic letters so that you can read the Quran with ease. If you have zero arabic, the average time to complete all levels is approximately 3 semesters.
How does the art of understanding work, will people learn to speak arabic fluently?
The Art of Understanding is a course designed for students to be able to understand the passages of the Quran. Along with course videos and live instruction, at the close of the program, you will have gained the ability to complete running translation of select passages of the Quran
Are there female teachers?
The main instructor for the course is Imam Wisam. In addition, we do have both male and female TAs who listen to Student Submissions and provide personalized feedback.
Are there any one-to-one sessions?
The Quran Revolution approach to one-on-one sessions is truly groundbreaking. You will submit weekly recordings of your recitation, which will be evaluated by Imam Wisam and the course TAs, and you will receive weekly personalized feedback. The evaluation is similar to a one-on-one session, as each student receives weekly, individualized feedback.
How do the office hours work?
Office hours will take place every Wednesday with two live, 45-minute sessions at at different times. During the interactive session, you will have the opportunity to ask a course-related question for an immediate response from Imam Wisam. All questions will be answered on a first-come-first-serve basis.
We send our recordings to you and the team, but how will we know we are doing it right?
You will submit your recording on a weekly basis and Imam Wisam and his TA team will send you personalized feedback based on your recitation. With the help of the course videos, live class, and weekly feedback from your assigned TA, you will notice a gradual improvement in your recitation. The feedback is designed to help you identify the improvements so you can implement them into your next submission. .
Is this appropriate for kids?
Due to the nature of the online classroom environment, it may be difficult for a young child to stay motivated to keep up with the program. We recommend that only children 15 and above be registered for Quran Revolution. Parents are urged to use discretion when signing their child up for the program.
How big are the class sizes?
Class sizes will vary depending on the placement of each student and the session they choose to attend. There will be two live sessions (with different times to accommodate learner schedules) of each course every week. You have the option to attend the live class that best suits your needs. Again, the class size will vary depending on the students who attend the session.
If I am placed at Level 2 or 3, or 4, will I be able to access the previous level class videos as well?
Yes, you will be given access to the previous level class videos.
